Privacy policy

Buyer data

• Your photo (selfie): used only to create your try-on. It is private and erased automatically within 24 hours.
• Your try-on result: visible only to you. It is erased after 7 days, unless you chose to send it to the seller (see “Looks”). You can delete it at any time with “Delete this try-on”.
• Looks sent to the seller: only if you turn the option on. The seller of that shop sees the result image (never your original photo) for 30 days at most. You can take your look back at any time.
• An anonymous session cookie, so that only you can see your try-ons. No account is needed.
• Anonymous counters (views, try-ons, WhatsApp taps) for the seller. They contain no IP address, photo or personal identifier.
• In your browser: your language and a reference to your last photo (20 hours) so you do not have to upload it again. That reference is useless without your session.

Seller data

• Your Google name and email address (verified by Google), to sign you in.
• Your shop: name, country, language and WhatsApp number. The name and WhatsApp number are public on your product pages and shop page so buyers can contact you.
• Your products (photos, titles, prices, descriptions), your models (photo and recorded consent) and the images and videos created for you.

Why we use it

• To provide the service: try-ons, worn photos, Status images and videos, product and shop pages.
• Based on your consent: sending a look to the seller, creating images of a model.
• Security and abuse prevention: usage limits and rate limiting. Your IP address is used only in memory, for one minute, for rate limiting; it is never stored.

Service providers

We use providers that process data on our behalf, sometimes outside your country:

• Perfect Corp (YouCam API): generates try-ons, worn photos and videos. Photos are sent to it for this processing only.
• OpenRouter (and the chosen AI model, Alibaba’s Qwen by default): writes the descriptions and captions a seller asks for, from the product details (and its photo when the model reads images). No photo of a person and no buyer data is sent to it.
• Cloudflare (R2): private image storage; access uses temporary links.
• Neon: database.
• Railway: application hosting.
• Google: seller sign-in.

Retention

• Buyer photos: 24 hours at most.
• Try-on results: 7 days, or until the look sent to the seller ends (30 days at most).
• Products and models deleted by the seller: their photos and images are erased immediately. A model’s consent record is kept as proof of what was agreed.
• Seller account: while you use the service. You can delete everything yourself with “Delete my shop” in the shop settings, or by writing to us.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to mgasmyr@gmail.com. Buyers can also delete a try-on directly in the app, and sellers can delete a product or a model from the Studio.

Security

Encrypted connections (HTTPS), private storage with temporary links, session tokens stored only in hashed form, and no photos in our logs.

AI-generated images

Try-ons are previews generated by artificial intelligence. They do not guarantee the size, fit or exact appearance of the garment.

Children

TryOnMe is not intended for people under 16.
